**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention plans to support individuals in need. **Duties:** - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Conduct direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients - Collect and record data on client behavior during sessions - Assist in developing individualized treatment plans - Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing interventions - Provide patient care and support during therapy sessions - Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations **Experience:** - Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities - Familiarity with data collection methods for tracking behavior - Knowledge of special education practices and principles - Ability to work effectively with children and individuals requiring behavioral support - Strong interpersonal skills for working closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams - Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and implementing treatment plans This position offers valuable experience for those pursuing careers in psychology, special education, or related fields.
